About

A real work of art – “Eglės Apartments” – was completed and presented to the public in 2018 – the building is located in one of the most romantic spots in Palanga, next to the Museum Park and the “Love Alley”.

These apartments are distinguished by their organic lines and curved facades. The exterior is finished with a unique, durable material – handmade bricks. It’s not just the exterior that gives the building a modern look. Inside, new technologies have been integrated, which allow access to apartments, mailboxes and bicycle storage using a fingerprint scan. There are 71 apartments on four floors of the building, ranging in size from 40 to 127 m².

The architect faced several challenges in designing the building – the apartments had to meet the requirements of buildings built within the cultural heritage area and fit in with the existing buildings and trees in the skyline. These challenges are partly responsible for the building’s unique architecture.

The architect of the building was awarded the “Best Holiday Home in Lithuania” award in 2018 and the “Best Housing in the Baltic States” award in 2019.
