\u201cPastatai kalba\u201d \u2013 open architecture weekends in smaller cities of Lithuania. Its main goal is to provide everyone with an opportunity to become more acquainted with architecture, experience and grasp the value of our material surroundings. During such weekends, city buildings that are usually closed to the public will open up.<\/span><\/p>\n

The main goal of the project is education. We aim to inform members of the public so they would become more aware, critical, curious of their local architecture and to provide them with the means to learn more about architecture in general.<\/span><\/p>\n

Every year, the open architecture weekend takes place in a different Lithuanian city, organised by a different team of organisers. During the weekend, 15 buildings open their doors and are guided by volunteer guides, their architects or building representatives.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2020, the open architecture weekend took place in Panev\u0117\u017eys, in 2021 \u2013 in Palanga, in 2022 \u2013 in \u0160iauliai, in 2023 \u2013 in Druskininkai and on 13-14 September the event will take place in Klaip\u0117da.<\/span><\/p>\n

The project is based on the previous organizing experience of “Open House Vilnius<\/a>“.<\/p>\n

Until 2024, the project was organized by the Architekt\u016bros fondas. From 2025, the project is implemented by the public institution \u201cArchitekt\u016bra ir \u017emon\u0117s\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
