About

Located at 181 Minijos Street, the newly constructed two-storey building offers approximately 7,800 m² of space dedicated to logistics and administrative functions. It serves as the main headquarters of the Klaipėda Terminal Group, uniting its administration and logistics departments under one roof.

The project was developed by the team of Laurynas Avyžius, architect of the NEBRAU studio. Their goal was to create a functional and aesthetically pleasing solution. The offices feature a harmonious combination of wood, concrete, and glass, resulting in a modern and inviting environment. This is the first office building in Lithuania constructed primarily from wood, making it a true symbol of sustainability and innovation.

The warehouse area, spanning around 5,500 m², is optimised for efficient cargo flow. The office block covers about 2,800 m² and includes more than 50 ergonomic workstations along with comfortable break areas. The building boasts an A++ energy efficiency rating: approximately 30 tonnes of recycled concrete and 600 m³ of certified wood were used in construction; solar panels and roughly 1,200 m² of windows ensure ample natural lighting and energy savings.

The surrounding infrastructure is thoughtfully designed, featuring green spaces, parking, electric car charging points, and lighting. Minijos 181 is more than just a logistics centre or an office building – it stands as an example of modern industrial architecture, proving that business can be both efficient and environmentally responsible.

The project received the prestigious Interior of the Year award and was nominated for the National Architecture Awards in the category of Sustainable Innovations in Architecture.
